COWDRAY GHOST WALK

Friday 30th March, 7.30pm.
Walk with us in the twilight hours and discover the legends and legacies of historic Cowdray. Not for the faint-hearted, nor anyone under the age of 11. Tickets £7.50, to include refreshments.
PIRATES & SMUGGLERS DAY
Presented by the Raven Tor

Sunday 6th May, 10.30am to 4pm.
A day for families, with lots of dastardly activities on offer. Witness skirmishes between sworn enemies, learn about combat and derring-do! Plenty of crafty activities to join in, and costumed characters to talk to. A chance to meet 18th century pirates and smugglers in a wonderful setting.
Tickets: £6.50 adult, £5.50 concession, £3.75 child 5-16, £16.00 Family (2+3),
Child under five free. Dogs on leads welcome.

EASEBOURNE DIAMOND JUBILEE FESTIVIES
Easebourne Village Fête
Sunday 3rd June, 2pm to 5pm
Join the parish of Easebourne at Cowdray Ruins for the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. Side shows, cream teas, music and stalls, combined with traditional games and competitions all afternoon.

TUDOR WEEKEND
Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th August, 10.30am to 4pm.
Come and meet a wide range of living history practitioners as they recreate life in Tudor England in the 16th century, set against the backdrop of a royal visit to Cowdray. Traditional skills and crafts demonstrated, authentically costumed characters presenting a feel for life at a grand courtier’s house. Fun for all the family!

HANSEL & GRETEL

What better way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon than by joining Hansel and Gretel in one of the most famous fairytales of all time. We join the siblings as they venture on an unwanted trek into the woods and follow their challenge to outwit their desperate Stepmother and the Witch in the woods, both of whom threaten their return home to their loving father. This production uses puppetry, movement, and instantly memorable music to bring the forest and its inhabitants to life in a fresh, exciting and magical way.
